Strawberry and Pistachio Frozen Yogurt

Prep time 10 minutes

Freezing time 4-6 hours 

Serves 12  people

Ingredients

  • 900g 0% Fat Strawberry Yogurt

  • 200g Strawberries

  • 2 medium bananas 

  • 200 g  Fresh Strawberries 

  • 150g Pistachios (chopped) ) or flaked almonds

  • 50ml double cream

Preparation

  1. Put the ingredients minus the fresh strawberries and he pistachios, in the order listed, in your food processor 

  2. Start pulsing until they start to blend together and the ingredient mix together to give you a soft serve icream consistency.

  3. You will need to stop your food processer decanting the mixture into a lined loaf tin (for ease) Then mix the remaining ingredients before topping with sliced strawberries and chopped pistachios.

  4. Chill for 3-8 hours, leaving the frozen yogurt to soften at room temperature if it has set solid.
